Funky Monkeys Backpackers & it's sisiter company, Funky Safaris offers you the best of both worlds with their Comfy and Fun accommodation in Nelspruit, the closest city to the Kruger Park and a variety of Safari packages into the World Renowned Kruger National Park and surrounding areas.

The hostel can only be described as a spacious, arty and fun place to hang out and has all the facilities needed to ensure a homely and comfortable atmosphere. Original artworks adorn the walls and their friendly & informative staff will help you to plan and book all your tours, buses and car rentals for you.

Funky Safaris offers One-Three day all inclusive Safari packages into the Kruger Park as well as day trips to the Blyde River Canyon and the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee Eden. We have our own fully equipped tented camp in the Kruger and all safaris are done by registered guides in OPEN safari game veiwing vehicles.
Package Descriptions:
One Day Kruger Package- ( 2 nights )The first night of this package you will stay in our Hostel (Funky Monkeys) as It is an EARLY rise before sunrise where you are transported through to the Kruger to meet your Guide & our Open Safari game veiwing vehicle. Your adventure now begins! The day is spent seeking out the vast variety of animal species that have made the Kruger their home: From the smallest of insects to the famous BIG FIVE. During the day you will break to enjoy both a continental breakfast and lunch. The evening is spent in our tented camp in the Kruger arround our camp fire enjoying a traditional South African meal. The following morning its up before sunrise as you head off for your last game drive of the package before returning to camp for a breakfast and then being transfered but to Funky Monkeys Hostel. Included: One night accommodation and dinner at Funky Monkeys Backpackers, One day/night in our tented camp in the Kruger National park, game drives, entrance and conservation fees, guides, meals and transfers to and from the Kruger.

Two Day Kruger Package (three nights): This package runs in the same manner as the One day package except you get to spend TWO nights in the Kruger and two full days of game veiwing. It Includes: First Night's accommodation in Funky Monkeys Backpackers with dinner. TWO nights in the Kruger Park in our camp,all meals, guides and transfers to & from the Kruger.

Three Day Kruger Package (four nights): The first evening is once again spent at Funky Monkeys Backpackers with dinner and you are transfered before sunrise the following day to spend Three Days and Nights in the Kruger Park discovering different routes. You are transfered back to Funky monkeys after a game drive and breakfast on the last morning. All inclusive as above.
