Enjoy stunning scenery from the back of a horse on one of our 1-2 hour trails, or set out on foot with a picnic basket on one of our demarcated foot paths up the mountain.

Whether your interests include horse-riding, bird watching, hiking, mountain-biking or just laying back and relaxing, you are surrounded by the beauty of nature and the magnificent views.

Palomino Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms sleeping 6 persons comfortably , a cozy living area complete with television, DVD player, fireplace and a fully serviced kitchen. Built from stone with a thatched roof, Palomino Cottage stays cool during the summer months and warm during winter. Relax and unwind on your private verandah with braai facilities overlooking a gurgling stream and paddock where the horses graze contentedly.

Accommodating 14-16 persons and ideally situated between Gauteng and Kruger National Park, Brumby Backpackers is the ideal venue for group getaways, family holidays, corporate team-building weekends and backpackers. 5 tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious log cabins sleep 2 persons in either twin or double beds, each with its own private veranda set in park-like gardens commanding spectacular views of the mountains. Fabulous communal facilities at Brumby's Mainhouse with a further 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). Enjoy a sundowner on the stunning deck with huge braai area or an evening under the stars in the open-air boma with fire pit.

Appaloosa House is a stunning, huge, luxury homestead set in a beautiful garden with private dam. Enjoy a BBQ and sundowner with magnificent views of the mountains. 3 double bedrooms + family suite. Sleeps 10 persons comfortably. Group Booking only.

Lydenrust Guest Farm is only 45 minutes from Nelspruit and a two and a half hour drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Lydenburg, Dullstroom, Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and the Blyde River Canyon, Sabie and Graskop are only a short drive away.

Luxury coaches run to Lydenburg from Johannesburg 3 times per week. Please enquire about pick-up from town.
